Day of Christ

The Day of Christ begins with the appearing (the epiphaneia) and kingdom (basileia ) of Jesus Christ (2 Tim.4:1) and the blazing forth of the glory of the great God, even our Savior Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13). This is when the hope of the calling of the Mystery is realized. This is when our faith gives way to sight. This is the next event on God's prophetic clock. This is when Christ Jesus, in His role as the Head of the high calling, convenes [calls into session] His Ecclesia (Church) which is His Body. As the Great Convoker, He, alone, calls His Ecclesia into session. This marks His assumption of sovereignty over the nations. Those who have been memberd into “the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” will either be raised out from among the dead, or will be changed from mortal to immortal, and will take their place, or station, in His Government. Concurrently with the many events taking place when Christ Jesus assumes sovereignty over mankind and the nations, the Holy Spirit (the Comforter) will actively and aggressively restrain evil (John 16:7-13). People who sin will die for their own sin (Jer. 31:30). The Spirit will hinder transgressions because man’s conscience will have been quickened (made alive). The Day of Christ is synonymous with all of the above, including the Kingdom of God, and comes before the tribulation and the second coming (Parousia) of Christ. During the Day of Christ, heaven and earth will be governed by Christ Jesus from His heavenly Throne. This dispensation is set in contrast to the Millennium or the Day of the Lord. To say the two are the same is to say that “one-plus-one equals one.” Most all Christians realize that the Day of the Lord (i.e. the Tribulation and the Millennium) begins with revolution, bloodshed and violence which will be an unprecedented event in all of human history. The Old Testament has a lot to say about this Day—the Day of the LORD. Isaiah speaks about the Lord's imposition upon the world of His Millennial Rule; “For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with wrath, and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord will be many” (Isa. 66:15-16). Psalm 50:3 says; "Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: A fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about Him." Psalm 97:3; “A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His enemies round about.” These verses relate to Jesus Christ Personally returning to earth to put an end to the nation’s revolt against His Rule from heaven (2 Thess. 2:1-12). When the Kingdom of God comes to Israel, it comes silently, “without observation” (Lu.17:22). It will not come suddenly or dramatically. Its’ coming is likened; “as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear” (Mk. 4:26-28). When the Kingdom comes, it comes without calamity with no harm being done to anyone. Notice a much overlooked passage; “He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory” (Matt.12:19-20). Matthew quotes from Isaiah 42:1-4 which informs us that the Kingdom (i.e God’s Government) begins with the Gentile nations. Israel will not be a nation at this time. They will still be scattered, or dispersed, among the nations. While ruling over the nations, the Lord begins His work of re-gathering the Jews. Over time, He leads them back to the Promised Land ─as believers. No unbelieving Jew will be brought back to Palestine; no, not one! The unbelieving will remain scattered among the nations. [This brings up the question; ‘What about the Israel that now is?’ All we’ll say for now is; the present Israel is not of God’s doing. When He brings them back, there will be no disputes regarding borders or whose land it is]. “And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD” (Ezk.20:38). If words have any meaning, then we must conclude that something begins silently, mysteriously, without observation, without strife, without Christ being heard, and without damage being inflicted. On the other hand, something else begins (i.e. the Lord’s Day) with a colossal display of vengeance, wrath, and cataclysmic punishment which will be openly displayed. It is a contradiction to insist that the two descriptions relate to the beginning of the same event. In plainer words, the Prophetic Word informs us that there is coming the Day of Christ which is another term for the coming Kingdom of God. We are met with a non-Scriptural term, The Millennium, which relates to the 1000 year reign of Christ upon the earth. The Biblical term for this is the Day of the Lord. It is essential to distinguish between the two. The Holy Spirit does. We should do so, also. If we force all truths connected to the Day of Christ into the Day of the Lord, the result is utter confusion. Not only that, but we rob the Lord Jesus Christ of His Day of Exaltation. During the Day of Christ, He will draw, or compel, all men unto Himself. He will be exalted from the earth as every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord to the Glory of God the Father. His Day begins with His “appearing and Kingdom,” and He begins to judge the quick and the dead. (2 Tim.4:1). This is when the glory of the great God, even Jesus Christ our Savior, blazes forth (Titus 2:13). Isaiah speaks of this event in 40:5; “And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together” and at the same time. What is seen is the glory of the LORD, not the LORD descending from Heaven; to this, Numbers 14:21 agrees; “But truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.” When the Kingdom comes, “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters covers the sea” (Hab.2:14). The Psalmist says; “And blessed be His glorious Name forever: and let the whole earth be filled with His glory” (72:19). The world will experience the revealing of His Glory without Christ Jesus leaving His Heavenly Throne. The shining forth of the glory of God takes place before the Day of the LORD. It is noted in Isaiah's vision that the seraphim see Christ's Day and say; “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of Hosts: the earth is full of His glory.” During the Day of Christ, the “times of refreshing comes from the presence of the LORD.” All things are rejuvenated while the Heavens retain Christ (Acts 3:19-21). The pristine, pre-Noah flood conditions will be re-created (Isa. 65:17; 66:22). When the Day of Christ begins, all of mankind will be enlightened by the Holy Spirit and realize that Jesus Christ is LORD! Christ will begin His benevolent rule of the world. Then, He will begin converting His ancient people, Israel. Read Ezekiel 20:23-33, and notice how the Lord begins a work in their hearts and will lead them back into the Holy Land as a Christ-believing people. As the Day of Christ draws to a close, the restraints of the Spirit are gradually withdrawn.

God's Desire For You....Will Be DONE

God's wish for you is for all to be saved and come to the fullness in the knowledge of the Lord. Scripture says He IS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD, so none will be lost. If none are lost, then all will confess He is Lord and come to fullness of the knowleged of the Lord. http://www.charleswelch.net/L019%20Eph%203%20Our%20Mission.mp3

Different Bodies So Know Which One Is Yours

Most believers believe that the Church which is His body can be found in Acts and Cor. Most believe the the Old Testament is about Israel and the New Testament is about the church. A common failure to see clearly in Eph and Col the body which is His Church and understand it is a secret and newer revelation in the prison epistles and is not the same body at all found described in I Cor. Paul used the term body some 80 times in his epistles. It is important for us to distinguish things that differ so as not to extinguish them in trying to join them together.....! The following is a vital study that needs not to be swiped aside, but prayerfully studied with the thought in mind we are to study all things and compare them with Scripture to SEE IF THEY ARE SO. Please don't be locked into certain traditions that can be proved wrong, with studying with the prayerful help of the Holy Spirit and our studying to show ourselves approved, rightly dividing His Word. Let each do all we can to prove all things and not answer before we know all the facts on a matter on both sides of an issue. God has a word for those lazy ones who answer a matter before all the facts have been examined... The links are in order.....Grace and peace as we delve deeply into His Glorious Riches and build very carefully on the foundation of Christ Jesus so as not to find ourselves ashamed as we stand before His Judgment Seat and give an account of how and what we built with.... The church which is His body....His body which is His church http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/A%201Cor.12%20&%20Roms.12%20compared-Part1.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/A%201Cor.12%20&%20Roms.12%20compared-Part2.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/A%201Cor.12%20&%20Roms.12%20compared-Part3.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12-1.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12-2.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12-2b.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12-3%20(cond).mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12-4.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12-5.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12-5b.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12Body,%20Summary.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor.12%20The%20Body,%20A%20Summary.mp3 http://www.bibleunderstanding.com/1Cor%2012-Rock%20-Restoration.mp3

The Church Which Is His Body Did Not Begin in Acts

When Christ Our Life Appears In Heaven Not The Clouds

World English Bible 3:4 When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory. Psalm 9:19 (    Arise, .....     )  Yahweh! Don't let man prevail. Let the nations be judged in your sight.  9:7 -8 But Yahweh reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment.  He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness.  Col 1:26-27 the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,  to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory;  Col 2:2  that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, Col 2:12-15 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.  You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses; having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he has taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;  having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.  Col 3:1-4 If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.  Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory Col 3:1-4  CLV(i) 1 If, then, you were roused together with Christ, be seeking that which is above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God." 2 Be disposed to that which is above, not to that on the earth, 3 for you died, and your life is hid together with Christ in God." 4 Whenever Christ, our Life, should be manifested, then you also shall be manifested together with Him in glory."  Eph 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;  even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love;  having predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,  to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved,  Eph 1:8-10 which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,  making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him  to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, in him;  Eph 1:12-13 to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:  in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, -- in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,  Eph 1:17-18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;  having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,  Eph 1:19-21 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might  which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,  far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.  Eph 2:1 You were made alive when you were dead through your trespasses and sins,  Eph 2:4-5 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,  even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have you been saved),  Eph 2:6-7 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,  that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;  Eph 2:13-15 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.  For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition,  having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;  This new dispensation that Paul was given after Acts 28 is peculiar to all others that came before. It's members  were chosen BEFORE the foundation of the world ( Eph. 1:4) and has a hope and inheritance in a sphere and  locality never before promised to man, The Holiest of Holies, or Glory itself, (Col. 3:4 Manifest Jesus: "For there is not anything hidden, except that it should be manifested, neither did it become concealed, but that it may be coming into manifestation.  Paul: "Whenever Christs, our Life, should be manifested, then you also shall be manifested together with Him in glory." What a great day of healing and reckoning it will be for many!!! Unveiling hope of high calling...... Those who make up the Church (Ecclesia) over which Christ Jesus is the Head          (Eph. 1:22-23) will not be part of “His Elect” mentioned in Matthew 24. The “Elect” of our calling are given very “high orders” to follow as we make our way through this life as sojourners.   “Put on therefore [our Spiritual apparel], as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye” (Col. 3:12-13).   The “high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:14) is God’s present Elect. We are waiting for Christ to call His Church into session. In today’s church-world, we have no status; we have no acclaim; if we are known, then, we are misunderstood. By and large, members of the Church, which is His Body, when known ─ are rejected; we have no standing in the Christian- world. It is as if our service and ministry to the Lord Jesus Christ is part of some underground movement. But, we are not dismayed! Why? Because, we are “accepted in the Beloved” (Eph. 1:6). In our small “world,” we (you and I) are known and recognized by true yokefellows and fellow laborers. But, in the “church-world,” many of us have been denounced, excommunicated, castigated, maligned, vilified, and evil spoken of. Yet, we all wear these insults as a badge of honor.    Members of this Church, who recognize Jesus Christ as our Head, embrace the truth that we have died, and our life “is hid [‘krupto’ kept secret] with Christ in God” (Col. 3:3). Now, get this; “our life is hid.” For something to be hid, it must be present!  Dear friends, we are “hid in plain sight.” BUT:   “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye [you and I] also appear with Him in glory” (Col. 3:4)   In plainer words, whenever Christ is made visible, our life with Him shall become visible in His glory. We, as His Body, who were hid, will be disclosed, uncovered, or unveiled when Jesus Christ is suddenly and, unexpectedly, made manifest. Tom Ballinger  "looking for that blessed hope, and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13).

A Secret Given To Paul For You To Read and Believe

The Mystery...... Because of being unable to "rightly divide'' the prophecies, many Rabbis in Israel had to invent two Messiahs. It was beyond their comprehension that one Messiah could both suffer and reign. Human reason just couldn't imagine how one could possibly meet the requirements of Messiah. They could not separate the first and second coming of the Messiah. The first coming to suffer; the second to reign. The same is true concerning this PRESENT AGE. God's present purpose as found in this dispensation, THE MYSTERY, is as unreasonable to modern day ''Rabbis,'' as was the first and second coming of Christ to their ancient counterparts. The Mystery is not reasonable to the carnal mind and to those who have not bothered to rightly divide the Word. It is absolutely essential that the Word of God be divided aright if one is to see the Mystery. As long as Israel is robbed of her blessings and her hope by believers, the Word of Truth is dishonored, and the Holy Spirit is not at liberty to "enlighten" the eyes of their understanding (Eph. 1:18). It should also be pointed out that just because somebody is rightly dividing the Word does not guarantee he knows the Mystery. All too many are wrestling with the problem. They talk a great deal about "right division." They make a difference between the Jews and the Gentile, between Peter and Paul, between the Kingdom and the Church. and between law and grace, and yet do not comprehend THE MYSTERY. It is regrettable that some of these folks are enemies of the truth. They sow discord and confusion and hinder many from coming to the knowledge of the truth. AII too often believers rely on their teachers and thereby follow some man, who is dedicated to defending his position or his persuasion. Regrettably all too often believers are approaching the knowledge of the truth and in checking with his "leader'' is warned not to pursue this line of truth and thereby is a victim of the warning in Colossians 2:18. Thus the believer is "beguiled of his reward''and fails to personally check the Scriptures himself. On the other hand, many sincere Bible believers who endeavor to rightly divide the Word of Truth have asked the question, "Just what exactly is the Mystery?'' We are going to attempt to answer that question in "Plainer Words" by giving an outline of the unique characteristics of the Mystery. The characteristics that make the Church of the Mystery as a distinct and separate calling from any of God's other company of redeemed are: THE MYSTERY WAS A SECRET This out-calling of believers fulfills a secret purpose of God known only to Him (Eph. 3:11). It was not made known until Israel was officially and judicially set aside in unbelief. ''Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive. For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.'' (Acts 28:26-28) This called-out group of believers make up a company of redeemed that is referred to as "the Church which is His Body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all'' (Eph. l :22- 23). This secret was given EXCLUSIVELY to the Apostle Paul BY REVELATION'' (Eph. 3:3). THE MYSTERY WAS A SPECIAL CALLING  The word "calling,'' is used to make known dispensational truth. The Bible reveals at least three callings.'' (1) The calling of Israel (2) The calling of the church before Acts 28 (3) The calling of the Church of the Mystery. Each calling differs in its Origin, Constitution and Sphere of blessing. The special calling of the Mystery is said to be the "HIGH CALLING OF GOD'' (Phil. 3:14), and a "HOLY CALLING'' (2 Tim. l:9), and we are to know "what is the HOPE OF HIS CALLING'' (Eph. l :18). THE MYSTERY WAS "HID'' This was not only a secret, but also a well-kept secret - the depository was the Heart of God. This secret was "HID IN GOD'' (Eph. 3:9) from the beginning of the world.'' Notice that it was NOT HID IN THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES! It was "hid in God''. The Mystery was hid from past ages and past generations "BUT NOW is made manifest to His saints"(Col. l :26). This eternal purpose (Eph. 3:11) was not known by "the fathers'' or "the prophets.'' It was God's most sacred secret, and who could wrest a secret from Him until He was ready to make it known? THE MYSTERY WAS PLANNED "BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN'' (2 Tim. 1:9) This present Church is the only company of believers that is said to have its origin "BEFORE THE FOUNDATION of the world'' (Eph. 1 :4). The calling of the "kingdom'' is related to a calling FROM THE FOUNDATION of the world'' (Matt. 25:34). The "ONE HOPE" (Eph. 4:4) of the Church of the Mystery was promised "BEFORE the world began'' (Titus 1:2). THE MYSTERY WAS REVEALED EXCLUSIVELY TO PAUL, THE PRISONER The internal evidence in Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 2 Timothy, and Philemon designate that they were the Apostle's writings while he was a "prisoner of Jesus Christ.'' Paul also states that he is a prisoner for you Gentiles'' (Eph. 3: 1). Paul refers to his prison ministry in : ''For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles. '' (Eph. 3:1) "I Therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, '' (Eph. 4:1) ''And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that l may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as l ought to speak. '' (Eph. 6:19-20) "Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because l have you in my heart, in asmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. '' (Phil. 1: 7) ''So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places,'' (PhiI. 1:13) ''For l am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:'' (Phil. 1:23) ''Withal proving also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ,  for which l am also in bonds.''' (Col. 4:3) ''Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God'' (2 Tim. 1:8) '' The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:'' (2 Tim. 1:16) ''Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein l suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God if not bound. (2 Tim. 2:8-9) "At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. '' (2 Tim. 4:16-1 7) '' Yet for love's sake l rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ. I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom l have begotten in my bonds:'' (Phile. 1:9-10) The Mystery was revealed to Paul BY REVELATION'' (Eph. 3:3) and the revelation was associated with Paul the "prisoner'' not Paul the FREE MAN. The body of Truth for the Church of the Mystery is contained in a FORM OF SOUND WORDS'' (2 Tim. l :1 3), (i.e. the Prison Epistles). THE MYSTERY WAS A NEW CREATION The Church which is "His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all'' is a new creation called "One New Man'' (Eph. 2:15). This indicates that it like all of God's creation was indeed a CREATION not an evolved entity. The Church of the Mystery did not evolve from the book of the Acts of the Apostles, but rather it was a new creation, created when the "Hope of Israel'' was put in abeyance in Acts 28:17-28. Eph. 2:15 says . . . for to MAKE (create) in Himself of twain (i.e. Jew and Gentile) One New Man. so making peace.'' Notice it says "to make''. The same expression is found in Gen. 1: 26 when the Godhead said, "Let us MAKE man in Our image.'' Gen. I:27 explains in no uncertain terms that the word "make'' of Verse 26 means to CREATE. Thus as Adam was created so also was the One New Man, the Church of this dispensation. The workmanship of Eph. 2:10 that was "created in Christ Jesus unto good works'' has reference to the new creation of the One New Man. This body of believers is therefore a company of redeemed that form a new creation not a group that is a result of ''evolution.'' THE MYSTERY WAS FOR THE GENTILES'' Paul says in Acts 28:28 that salvation. which had been of the Jews, is "NOW sent unto the Gentiles. and that they will hear it.'' Gentiles during God's dealings with Israel and until the casting aside of them had a DISPENSATIONAL DISADVANTAGE. Ephesians 2:12 says that at "that time ye (Gentiles) were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:'', but notice how this is changed by the coming in of a new dispensation. "BUT NOW in Christ Jesus ye (Gentiles) . . . are made nigh by the blood of Christ'' (Eph. 2: 13). It was "for this cause'' that Paul was a "prisoner of Jesus Christ for YOU GENTILES'' (Eph. 3:1 ). The ministry of the Word of God has been given to the Gentiles. Until the revelation of the Mystery the oracles of God were committed to Israel (Rom. 3:3). The "restoration of Israel'' is now no longer possible as long as God's secret purpose is operative and as long as the Gentiles NOW have the DISPENSATIONAL ADVANTAGE. THE MYSTERY WAS NOT RELATED TO ANY "COVENANTS'' OR "PROMISES'' This sacred secret was promised "in Christ before the world began'' (Titus 1 :2). The "covenants'' and the "promises'' belonged to "the fathers of Israel (Rom. 9:3-5), not to the Church of the One Body. The promises made to the "fathers'' were "FROM THE FOUNDATION of the world '' and the "covenants'' were made "SINCE the world began.'' This company of called-out believers was called with a "holy calling, not according to our works. but accordingly His Own purpose and grace. which was given us in Christ Jesus BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN'* (2 Tim. l :9), thereby eliminating the Church of the One Body from any connection with "covenants and promises'' that were made in time (i.e. since the world began). Romans I5:8 says that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision (Jews) for the purpose of CONFIRMING THE PROMISES MADE UNTO THE FATHERS, not the Church of the One Body. The "covenants'' were with Israel. The Lord promised a NEW COVENANT with the "house of ISRAEL and JUDAH'' (Jer. 31:31-36), not the Church of the One Body. The Mystery was "hid in God'' (Eph. 3:9), it was not in a veiled language in the Old Testament, and the Mystery has no connection with any "covenants" either "old'' or "new''. God's present purpose was planned before the world began, thus eliminating the need for any ties with "promises or covenants.'' THE MYSTERY HAS A UNIQUE SPHERE OF BLESSING "The company of the One Body is ASCENDED, ACCEPTED. BLESSED, and SEATED together "IN HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ Jesus''. "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:'' (Eph.2:6) '' To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved." (Eph. 1:6) ''Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:'' (Eph. 1:3) No other company of God's redeemed is said to enjoy this place of blessing. The sphere of blessing is at GOD'S OWN RIGHT HAND, where Christ sits; FAR ABOVE ALL (Eph. l :21), up above the firmament of Gen. 1:6 where the heavens are stretched out like a curtain (Isa. 40:22),up to the heaven of Gen. l : 1 . It is there, FAR ABOVE ALL HEAVENS (Eph. 4:10) that the Church of the One Body enjoys its unique sphere of blessing. Israel "according to the flesh'' (Rom. 9:3) had for its hope the EARTH as a place of blessing. Matthew 5:5 states ''Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the EARTH.'' This sphere of blessing is associated with the "Kingdom'' and an earthly city, EARTHLY JERUSALEM. This is the sphere of blessing that listeners to the Sermon on the Mount were told to pray for - "Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done ON EARTH, as it is in heaven'' (Matt. 6:10). The faithful from the call of Abraham to the close of Acts had for its hope a HEAVENLY sphere, not "far above all heavens,'' but one that was associated with a HEAVENLY CITY (Heb.11: 10). This city is referred to in Galatians 4:26 as "Jerusalem which is ABOVE'' in Hebrews l 2:22 it is referred to as "the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM.'' The ''overcomers'' of the book of Revelation are also associated with this city called "the Bride, the Lamb's wife'' (Rev. 2 l :9). This heavenly sphere of blessing is viewed as coming "DOWN FROM GOD out of heaven.'' In other words it is seen descending after the new heavens and new earth appear (Rev. 21 :1- 2, 9-10). Those believers who made or will make up that company of redeemed will enjoy their place of blessing in New Jerusalem, not in "HEAVENLY PLACES, FAR ABOVE ALL, WHERE CHRIST SITS.'' THE MYSTERY HAS ITS OWN FIGURE The Church of the One Body is figured as ONE NEW MAN (Eph. 2:15). The Church of the Acts economy and the Great Tribulation is likened to a BRIDE. ''For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. '' (2 Cor.11:2) ''And 1 John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. '' (Rev. 21:2). ''And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God, '' (Rev. 21: 9-10) Israel according to the flesh was a called out nation from among other nations, and is referred to as Jehovah's WIFE that is now cast off, but will be reunited in the Millennium. (Hos. 2: 19-20; 3:3-5). Each of three spheres of blessing is associated with a peculiar destiny.   WIFE                        BRIDE                       ONE NEW MAN the earth            New Jerusalem          Far Above All Heavens Questions? Check Address On Envelope Before Believing It Is To You

The Address on the Envelope Part 1   "I really don't understand it" "What's the matter?'' "Well, I've just opened a letter, and l can't make head nor tail of it''. "Are you sure that it's for you? Is it addressed TO you'? Have you got the envelope?'' "Oh dear, I've read a letter that was intended for someone else - I've just looked at the envelope, and find that it wasn't addressed to ME, although there are references to me in it''. I expect we have all had a similar experience, and could give instances where the neglect to read the address on the envelope has not only been amusing, but also has had very tragic consequences. In our everyday life we attach a great deal of importance to our correspondence, letters received by us from day to day, and not only is confusion caused but also very real harm done through neglecting to make sure that it has been really addressed to US. There are a great many people who are dealing with the Word of God as we sometimes do with our letters; the Bible, as we know, was written at various times to different companies of people. For instance, instructions were given to the children of Israel, and blessings promised to them. Attempts are often made to follow these instructions and to claim blessings that are not for us at all, although they make very profitable reading because: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God (God-breathed) and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness'' (2 Tim. 3:16). As an example of what is meant by reading the address on the envelope turn to the Epistle of James: "James, a servant of God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad". (One hears about the ten tribes which were "lost" but here James sends a greeting to the whole twelve). The Epistle to the Hebrews was addressed to the Hebrews who are said to be "partakers of the heavenly" calling (Heb. 3:1), unlike the Jewish Nation who have an earthly one. In one's own experience, and the experience of very many true believers, not only perplexity but also real distress have been caused by applying to themselves warnings which were written to these particular believers at that time; some have even felt that they had committed the unpardonable sin of Hebrews chapter six. For a further example, open the prophecy of Isaiah ... "The vision of Isaiah which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem''. What untold harm has been done, and ridicule and contempt brought upon the Bible all down the years, by not reading the address on the envelope, and applying prophesies addressed to the Jew as a Nation, to the "Church''. In our ordinary correspondence we also attach much importance, and rightly so, to dates or times. The value of any correspondence depends largely on its dates, vitally important on all legal documents and an absolute necessity if the subject matter refers to coming or going. To this all will agree. Surely then if correct dates are a necessity for the clear understanding of ordinary correspondence, the necessity applies with greater force when we seek to understand what GOD has written concerning matters of spiritual life and destiny. It has been stated that, before seeking to understand any part of the Bible, four points should first of all be settled. ( l ) By whom the particular prophecy or epistle was written. (2) To whom it was addressed. (3) The special circumstances which called for the writing. (4) The date of the message. While we cannot always fix a definite or exact DATE for the events of Scripture history, we CAN arrive at the TIMES of such events, and we are told that "God hath spoken at sundry times, and in divers manners (in many ways)'' ( Heb.1:1 ) .

The Timeline Scope of Different Believers

All believers In Scripture Are Not The Same

Let us take a look at all believers in Christ Jesus in an orderly timeline as they are presented in order, in scripture.  We should ask these questions about each set of believers in Christ Jesus as we find them in Scripture in history, all the way to the present and into the future.

1.  Who is being spoken to in the context of the verse?
2.  Who is speaking?
3.  What is being spoken about?
4.  When was what was spoken supposed to occur?
5.  What is the hope of each believer in context?
6.  When was the hope for each set by God for the believer, before the foundation of the world or
since the foundation of the world?
7.  Was the hope revealed in Old Testament and prophecy or was it or was it completely secret,
hidden in the mind of God and revealed only after a certain timeline to Paul?
8.  Where in the timeline of Scripture is your hope?
9.  The foundation of all believers hope is built on the belief that Christ Jesus in the living,
resurrected Son of God, just as at it was for Paul for the first time on the road to Damascus.
Jesus told him, "It is I, Jesus !" At that very moment in time, Paul realized for the first time
that Jesus is the living, resurrected Son of God. With the confirming of that knowledge in a
believers mind, by the Holy Spirit, Scripture assures us eternal, or more correctly translated,
     "aonian" life.
10.  Your measure of faith, granted to you by God, when He chooses to give it to you, is built on
that foundation and grows steadily as you study Scripture. We are taught by God's Holy
Spirit and given the ability to believe more and more of God's Word when He reveals it's
TRUTH to you, WHEN He wants you to believe it, and thus have a measure of faith. Your
measure of faith given to you, grows in this way. We grow in grace and knowledge.
11.  The HIGHEST MEASURE of faith was granted to some before the foundation of the world or
aonian times.  It was a secret, hidden in the mind of God and not revealed any where in Scripture
in the Old Testament or prophecy. It was revealed to one man first, and that man was Paul. It was
revealed to Paul at a certain place on the timeline of history after Israel was given adequate time to
repent of rejecting their Messiah and King. Israel was set aside temporarily, DIVORCED FROM
God. Israel was brought down from her high status before God to just the exact status as all the
other nations, NO MORE, NO LESS !
12.  If... YOU WERE.... predestined before the foundation of the world ,YOU WILL believe
in his prison epistles about Paul's message for you, written there, waiting for you to read it and
THEN BELIEVE IT, at a certain time, reserved for you by God to read it and believe it !
If God has not predestined YOU before the foundation of the world to believe this message,
THEN, YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE IT ! You will be in unbelief about it. Just like Israel was in
UNBELIEF about their King and Messiah as the true Son of God. If you were predestined before
the foundation of the world to believe Paul as he tells us in Scripture, in his prison epistles, what
this SECRET IS and IS TO, then you will believe Paul's Gospel for you......
AND ARE SEATED IN HEAVEN IN CHRIST JESUS,
after you read it and believed ( about your high calling that is laid aside in heaven for you).....
YOU ARE IN THE CHURCH WHICH IS HIS BODY....
Then, you will realize the real TIMELINE of what will happen NEXT on God's agenda for the
eons.  Christ Jesus will at some point in the future stand up at the right hand of God, in heaven,
and APPEAR AND AND BE MANIFEST TO ALL CREATION. What will happen at the
very same time IN HEAVEN....and not IN THE CLOUDS, ....in a nano of 1/30th of a second,
what ever you are doing down here on earth, you will DISAPPEAR...
and REAPPEAR in heaven ...MANIFEST WITH HIM AS HE IS ALSO....
REVEALED TO BE A GLORIFIED OUT SHINING SON OF GOD, IN AN IMMORTAL
NEW GLORIFIED BODY LIKE UNTO HIS.  There will be no doubt to all creation at this
time in history that you have been revealed to be a SON OF GOD.
This will be the moment in TIME that is the INAUGURATION of the DAY OF CHRIST
and His heavenly rule of the KINGDOM OF GOD from heaven over mankind and all the
earth. From the least to the greatest, in a nano of a second of TIME, all will know and believe God
with a NEW ATTITUDE of belief and respect for God. This will happen because God  will
shower down His Spirit on all mankind and all living creation and because of this, even the very
nature of animals will be changed from wild to tame. This will be the time Scripture talks about
that the lion will lay down with a lamb.
13.   All churches, bodies of believers, congregations, in the Bible are not the same as the SECRET
OF THE CHURCH WHICH IS HIS BODY. If you are ASHAMED...of Paul's prison epistles
and are in UNBELIEF about Paul's revelation to him from Christ Jesus that was a SECRET
hidden in the mind of God, about God's New Creation which is neither Jew nor Greek, which
is ONE NEW HUMANITY, THE CHURCH WHICH IS HIS BODY, .........THEN.....
you simply were not called to BELIEVE IT BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.
You are a BELIEVER, but not in the Church which is His body.
Your faith is built up on the foundation of Christ Jesus with false hopes & you are trying to MIX...
the things that belong to Israel as yours, and THEY ARE NOT YOURS. Your false faith
will be burnt up at the Judgment Seat of Christ Jesus, but.....you yourself will be SAVED and
be given ( aonian ) life as promised. ( For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the
POWER of God to salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, & also to the Greek.)
All believers in Christ Jesus have the proper foundation for their measure of faith that is granted to
them to believe, when God opens their eyes to it & that is that Christ Jesus is the Son of God.
It cannot be denied, that Scripture says if one believes this, "they will have "eternal or aonian life"
14.    The degree that believers MIX the things that belong to Israel, their hope, and try to make them
their own instead of for Israel, the same degree of false traditions of men will have to be
unlearned either now or at the Judgment Seat. It takes God alone to dispel the false traditions
of men that have been planted there by Satan and his false ministers of light.  There are those
believers that God predetermined before the foundation of the world and aonain times to believe
Paul and the SECRET revelation from the risen Christ Jesus about our glorious hope laid up for
us in heaven.  There are more believers in Christ Jesus that God has caused to be in UNBELIEF
of Paul's prison epistles for us today.  They are believers that are not ready to hear more then just
the milk of the Word and they CANNOT stomach strong meat and the GLORIOUS RICHES
for the Church which is His body which was alone PREDESTINED TO BE manifest with
Christ Jesus as He is, at the throne of God in heaven.

Paul's Very Latest Revelation From Christ To You

Paul's Epistles written after Acts 28....   This website is dedicated to showing forth the Mystery of Ephesians and the UN-SEARCHABLE riches of Christ. We  believe Paul reveals in Ephesians for the FIRST TIME  a Body of believers that has been chosen "BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN" or before aionion times. It is in Paul's prison epistles we find....... a NEW HOPE and INHERITANCE which is located in a sphere FAR ABOVE ALL HEAVENS in GLORY.   This sphere of blessing can be found NOWHERE else in Scripture until then, thus, the un-searchable riches of Christ.            It was given unto Paul exclusively to usher in this new dispensation which CAN NOT be found in the O. T  Scriptures. This new dispensation, revealed after Israel was divorced as a nation and became LO-AMMI, or not my people. It is this second ministry that Paul reveals the dispensation of the mystery and the un-searchable riches of Christ.  Paul is in a tough spot. He is in prison and is told by Christ that he must now minister this new hope, a hope that will have believers in this truth ascend FAR ABOVE ALL HEAVENS in Glory itself.   "And  hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in HEAVENLY PLACES (en tois epouraniois) in Christ." Eph. 2:6 This new dispensation that Paul was given after Acts 28 is peculiar to all others that came before. It's members  were chosen BEFORE the foundation of the world ( Eph. 1:4) and has a hope and inheritance in a sphere and  locality never before promised to man, The Holiest of Holies, or Glory itself, (Col. 3:4). 1.  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  2.  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3.  For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  4.  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

The Church Which is His Body

We can hardly believe that any redeemed child of God would "prefer" to wait on earth for the descent of the Lord from heaven if the "manifestation with Hin in glory" were a possible hope before him.  Manifested  "in glory", i.e. where Christ now sits "on the right hand of God". While, therefore, the hope before all other companies of the redeemed is "the Lord's coming", the "prior-hope" of the church of the Mystery is rather "their going" to be  "manifested with Him in glory"  While the epistle to Titus is not a "Prison Epistle", it belongs to the same group as 1 and 2 Timothy. There, too, we read that we should live  "looking for that blessed hope, and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13). Parousia and Epiphany  Believing as we do that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, we must be careful to distinguish between the different words used by God when speaking of the hope of His people. We observe that the word parousia usually translated "coming", is found in such passages as the following:  "What shall be the sign of Thy COMING and of the end of the age?" (Matt. 24:3). "The COMING of the Lord" (1 Thess. 4:15). "The COMING of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Thess. 2:1).  "They that are Christ's at His COMING" (1 Cor. 15:23).  "The COMING of the Lord draweth nigh" (Jas. 5:8). "The promise of His COMING" (2 Pet. 3:4). "Not ashamed before Him at His COMING" (1 John 2:28).  This word is used to describe the hope of the church during the period when "the hope of Israel" was still in view. Consequently we find it used in the Gospel of Matthew, by Peter, James and John, ministers of the circumcision, and by Paul in those epistles written before the dispensational change of Acts twenty-eight.  A different word is used in the Prison Epistles. There, the word parousia is never used of the Lord's coming or of the hope of the church, but the word epiphany. In 1 Thessalonians four the Lord descends from heaven; in 2 Thessalonians one He is to be revealed from heaven. This is very different from being a manifested "in glory", i.e. where Christ now sits "on the right hand of God". While, therefore, the hope before all other companies of the redeemed is "the Lord's coming", the "prior-hope" of the church of the Mystery is rather "their going" to be  "manifested with Him in glory".  While the epistle to Titus is not a "Prison Epistle", it belongs to the same group as 1 and 2 Timothy. There, too, we read that we should live  "looking for that blessed hope, and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13).  The four Prison Epistles are:  A   EPHESIANS .- The Dispensation of Mystery. Basic Truth          B    PHILIPPIANS. -The Prize. Outworking.K   A   COLOSSIANS. -The Dispensation of the Mystery. Basic Truth         B 2 TIMOTHY. -The Crown. Outworking.  The reader will find in each of these epistles, evidence that they were written from prison and that they form part of the ministry referred to in Acts 28:31.  The above notes on features (1) to (7) are necessarily brief and are not intended to do anything more than provide the merest outline of the subject. Any reader who is not convinced as to the peculiar and unique character of these prison epistles and the dispensation they reveal, should give them a personal study, noting all their claims, and their distinctive features. This article has not been written to prove to the satisfaction of all that a new dispensation commenced at Acts twenty-eight, but has been prepared rather as a help to those who, having realized that a change most certainly did take place in the dispensational dealings of God with men at that time, desire to understand what effect this change had upon the hope of the church.  It might be well if the reader pondered the marginal reading of Ephesians 1:17 where, instead of "in the knowledge of Him", we read, "for the acknowledging of Him". This raises a most important point. Many fail to go forward with the truth, not because of inability to understand the meaning of plain terms, but because of failure to "acknowledge Him". The Apostle' pauses in his teaching to tell his hearers that before another step can be taken, acknowledgment of what has already been revealed must be made. To acknowledge the truth of the Mystery is to put oneself out of favour with denominationalism; and many a child of God who says, "I do not see it", is really making a confession of failure to acknowledge the revelation of truth connected with the ascended Lord.  What promise is in view? There is but one promise in the Prison Epistles. The Gentiles who formed the church of the One Body were by nature  "aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise" (Eph. 2:12),  but through grace they became  "fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the gospel; whereof I (Paul) was made a minister" (Eph. 3:6-'n.  This promise takes us back to the period of Ephesians 1:4, "before the foundation of the world"  "According to the promise of life, which is in Christ Jesus . . . according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus, before the world began" (before age-times) (2 Tim. 1:1,9).  It is this one unique promise that will be realized when the blessed hope before the church of the one Body is fulfilled. Its realization is described by the Apostle in Colossians three:  "When Christ, Who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory" (Col. 3:4).  It is impossible to defer this "appearing" until after the Millennium, for the church is waiting for "Christ their life" and so awaiting "the promise of life", which is their hope.  The word "appearing" might be translated "manifestation", and will be familiar to most readers in the term "epiphany".
